If someone is placed in a rehad,they should not be able to sign theirselves out.They should have to stay for a certain period of time until they are stable.

In Louisiana there are no lock down facilites for clients with substance abuse/dependency issues. If someone comes in on a court order or detainer, you still can't not force them to stay. But you can notify law enforcement officials that they are court order. They may or may not bother to pick them up.
The problem with clients leaving when they want is that they will almost look for any reason to do so. But the real deal is you either want help or you don't!
